How Much Do You Get?
The maximum rate is around $808 per fortnight for a single person and $740 each for partnered recipients (March 2026 estimates). Single principal carers and people aged 55+ on payment for 9+ months can receive more. Income above the free area reduces the payment by 50β60 cents per dollar (or 40 cents for principal carers).
Income Test
